About the event
The Annual National Apprenticeship & Trade Testing Candidate of the Year Awards is organized to acknowledge and boost awareness of the Apprenticeship & Trade Testing programs in Papua New Guinea. These awards play a crucial role in encouraging ongoing learning and enhancement of craftsmanship to support the country's economic growth by nurturing a skilled workforce.
For many years, FCS has been actively involved as a key stakeholder in collaboration with NATTB, starting from the establishment of its Registered Training Organization (RTO 062) with the National Training Council. FCS remains committed to providing continuous training, with a particular focus on enhancing the skills of its workforce, especially through the Apprentice Chef Training program for the local community residing in mine villages and surrounding areas.
